Doerr Animal Clinic is proud to serve the Louisville KY area for everything pet related.  Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Pat Turns, who is a licensed, experienced Louisville veterinarian.

Dr. Pat Turns

Dr. Turns attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, graduating in 1985, then served 5 years as an officer in the United States Army.  After serving in the Army, it was Dr. Turns deep love of animals that led him to the decision to attend Purdue University and become a Veterinarian.  After his graduation in 1995, Dr. Turns practiced 7 years in Southern Indiana as a small and large animal veterinarian.  He then moved to Louisville to a small animal practice for 2 years prior to joining Doerr Animal Clinic in 2004.  He became a partner with Dr. Doerr in 2007 and purchased the entire practice in 2011.  Dr. Turns lives at home with his wife and 2 children, along with their menagerie of rescued dogs and cats.
